How did we managed to beat the master?
Spoiler tags maybe?
I wonder what your basis for comparison is…”

Because only the weak sylvari turned, so must not have been that strong.
And besides, we got friendship!
Yeah but they where hundreds of Sylvari and maybe hundreds of Hyleks so maybe thousands of sentient beings and yet the commander still kicked kitten . Also how did he resist when he went in the eternal alchemy while Scarlet did not?
How did he knew how to use those ruptures?

Scarlet is a Sylvari who dove right into the abyss and you know what they say about the abyss….
That being said, most species (not Sylvari) were beaten down unconscious just to be copied, like Mordremoth went total Body Snatchers. So it’s not like he conquered Zoija and Logan via their mind so much as he just whooped them into submission. You don’t need to be terribly smart to whoop someones kitten .

Mordremoth sent out a call that would corrupt the weak willed. Keep in mind that for Logan and Zoja, and Trahearn, he encapsulated them in some sort of plant, because he seemingly couldn’t break their will the normal way. He also did this with several of the other Pact Fleat who didn’t initially turn to his side by taking them prisoner and starving them and breaking their will.
We were pulled out of the machine, scarlet wasn’t. And I don’t think mordrem are controlled but merely created with a hive mind or direct instructions. Mordrem guard sylvari only ones controlled as far as I know, and don’t take much apparently.
