Since the events don’t reward them, what do I need to do to get around 250 for my collection?

But I don’t see these too often, each only gives 3 parts.

They show up more during the night or in the first 10 minutes or so of the day. Try to hold control on your keyboard when wandering around, it will show the text over them from farther away, makes them easier to spot.
They also have a chance to reward 25 parts instead of 3 and that happens pretty often.

Try to google for " Large arship cargo", sometimes there’s big ones that swpawn on the map at specific places that gives even more parts.

#1: Get Nuhoch Mastery rank 1, Nuhoch Hunting. It lets you get caches as drops from enemies that will contain map specific currency.

#2: You can get airship parts from events… sort of. As you further the meta status of a map, you get more and more of a reward percentage. You’ll regularly receive reward boxes as the map progresses, giving you more rewards the more you’ve done. These boxes frequently contain airship parts.

#3: Use Crowbars on airship cargo.

#4: The Hero Points that spawn groups of enemies/champions drop rewards, which sometimes contain parts.

I have found the average night cycle in VB has 20-35 airship cargo and 3-5 large cargos, you can run the whole map and help with the defend rally point events as you loop it. for some reason I find more in the nobles area usually

There’s also a HUGE amount of caches in the sky that pop up after killing meta bosses. These tend to be a little easier to find than the ones on the ground.

Also, keep an eye on your minimap. When events are completed and new chaches spawn, they will ping their locations on the map briefly. if you see a red map ping, head there and you’ll usually find something to crowbar open.

If you simply do VB events and kill mobs, you won’t even believe how many you amass in a short period of time. Mobs can drop Nunoch Hunting Bags that have them. You get more crowbars from doing events than you can find airship cargoes on the ground …

You really shouldn’t be having this problem; the game is designed that if you play it, you get your due rewards.

As Pope Urban notes, right after an event in a chain is finished, the minimap flashes red circles around the area. Those are the airship cargoes spawned by the event. As long as events are completing, there will be cargoes. Also if as you run around you see a misty blue mote floating above the ground behind an obstruction, that’s a cargo that is blocked from your view but easily run to. Hold down CTRL to spot the yellow names and look for them by around a third of the way into daylight in a map that’s doing events and you’ll see plenty of them. Help do the events and you’ll have the crowbars to open them.

That plus Nuhoch hunting plus my using VB as my completion map to unlock elites means that even with using up currency to buy elite ascended weapons I usually have at least 1K airship parts while my other maps require a couple of meta runs each to get the 400 currency needed to complete an elite weapon.
