HAHAHA I just realized its only the 31……. The 7th is June not the day
It would be nice if we got to create our beta character this time before the beta. I spend at least an hour in creation. This way you can be premade for the beta. Dont think having a character ready to go hurts anything, and huzzah for not having to create a beta character every BWE this time!
Are we keeping anything this time?
Is it all again a waste?
Meaning we should focus on testing and not getting a thing in return.
I’m also one of those worried of getting a precursor and being told to blow it up or give it to a Skritt because they love shynies.

Why spend so much time on a temp character? They get deleted before the game goes live. Mae a quick one and enjoy.

No. You’re not. Beta progress almost never translates into permanent progress in any game in the history of the human race.

If you’re looking to line your pockets, yes. If you’re there to help them polish the game before release, no, it’s definitely not a waste.

I know enlightened self-interest is hard, but finding/reporting bugs and contributing to metrics gathering gets you a BETTER GAME come launch day, so testers always get something in return.

You do get to keep what you make this time for beta weekend 2, however, you don’t get to keep anything from betas in your permanent accounts. As for spending an hour to make a beta character, that seems a bit over the top.
I take 5minutes to make a character as look doesnt matter to much for something i wont be focusing on long term.
Log in – permanent hair kit – fine tune the look a little – that take another minute.
Then test out the updated revenant in WvW, mixing it up with a open raid zerg to see how it does and then guild raid for better judgement on where it stands.
Probably take me as much time to evaluate the whole class as will you to make it :P

Not testing the new maps at all hence why my testing time wont be so strenuous. Want to keep maps for when it actually comes out.
It much easier to judge when testing it against what I know then on completely new area and it the class changes that will need most finetuning.
