How to use full exp bar to get mastery?
Through the mastery menu. Just click the XP bar.
Can’t it says that I need to complete the story chapter to unlock mastery tracks.
Note: My friend entered the Verdant Blink with me in party and possibly this didn’t count for me.
Oh. You’ll have to go back to SW and enter the instance.
Step 1 – Complete the story instance. Start at SW and work through. If you have been through in a party, ensure your story step has updated throughout in the top right corner
Step 2- Fill xp bar (which you have done already)
Step 3 – gain a mastery point (I think you got one automatically when you entered VB)
After that you can use the mastery UI to get gliding.
Pretty sure it’s bugged. I completed the story, but my masteries didn’t unlock and it still says I need to complete the storystep…

Create a new character and do the story. Maybe there’s a bug that prevents you from unlocking them with a character if you originally skipped the story.

I can confirm that this is how to “fix” the bug as the same thing happened to me. I ended up making a second beta toon and went thru the personal story solo.

I also didn’t get mastery unlock credit even though I got rewards when I accepted progress in a friend’s instance. I made another alt to unlock it, which meant not testing the Scrapper yet since she was mastery-locked and the Druid proved fun enough to keep going with. He got me my gliding, woo.
At which point I learned that I can’t commune with mastery points in the world … possibly due to being in the tutorial sequence of getting gliding then shrooms.
I had the same problem, which resolved itself when I replayed the story instance with a new beta character.
