Should i sell it and wait for new legendary greatsword to be revealed and work towards that since it will be new and different??

Depends really. I’m pretty sure the new legendary weapons are going to be made in completely different ways than the current ones so selling your precursor may not even make a difference.

You could always just hold onto it and see what happens down the road, though.
