HoT is not free if you have core game. Have to buy expansion to play HoT. Core game include free for new customer that buy HoT so do not have to pay 2 time to play game.

You are rebuying the game at full retail, no deal or discount for players that paid full price already.
The core game is free. The price of the expansion is $50. You’re not rebuying anything. That’s the price.
Whether the price is too high is another matter.
