So as the title explains, I ducked up, pretty kitten badly aswell, During the story mission when I was given the choice of the backpacks, I chose the Initiate’s Pack. After completing another story, I was given something to upgrade the pack..

Only, I had destroyed the Initiate’s Pack, aaaaand now the item to upgrade the pack isn’t in my inventory.. I messed up badly, and don’t know how to fix this..

Can you do the story on another char and chose the backpack again? If not, contact support and see what they say. They may be able to send you another.

Contact support and explain to them what happened. They may restore the item back to you.

I did this as well, but from looking at it the back pack is part of a collection called Agents Pack. I don’t think you need it back.

I did not delete the pack and i don’t have any item to upgrade it in my inventory. I recall seeing it as a story reward but its no where in my inventory

Yeah it was a belt buckle type item yeah idk where mine is either

My upgrade item is gone as well, but I still have the Initiate’s Pack. I believe it said that the upgrade would take effect immediately upon receiving the upgrade item? Item is gone, and my pack is still the Initiate’s Pack…

Isn’t it just needed for the achievement, and once you are done with achievements you get the actual physical reward? Like those items in the Silverwastes? I sold those items when the item collection achievement was filled for that part…

Think you can actually purchase it from a vendor…

I saved my back piece in my bank but did a quest and got an upgrade part but also do not see it anywhere. Going by some of the posts above there is a collection or achievement for it? So I would guess that once we get all the items the reward would be the upgraded version.

Not in game atm to check though but will look next time I’m online

It IS a collection, with the reward for finishing it being the upgraded version of the backpiece. Once you get a piece of the collection, it automatically crosses it off of the collection list and you do not need it again.

I haven’t done a ton of research, but unless there is a mystic forge recipe involving these items, you do not need them.

Contact support at the top of the page. Odds are they’ll give it to you.

Guys fear not. The backpacks are part of a collection, when you finish that collection the reward is an upgraded version of it. Collection unlocks occur once an item binds to your account and thus even after you delete it you will have it checked off in the collection. I actually checked this myself ingame and there is an achievement for it.

nevermind i found it. its the collection called “Agent’s Pack” you need to buy items from each zones “faction” as well as do the story to get the rest of the items and once you get that done, you’ll get an exotic version of your backpack

So… I messed up and picked the wrong pack at the time – do we know if it is possible yet to get the other two through merchants, or do you have to repeat that chapter on a different character?

Well… I actually asked a different question.

Picked the wrong one, and I want to start the achievements for the alternatives. Someone mentioned a possible vendor above.
