I’ve gotten my Portal to the Heart of Maguuma now what?

So it appears you get an in game mail sent.

I did not have a beta character slot appear, and I have not yet received an email.

I signed up to the newsletter again just to make sure I didn’t miss the chance, and even added the newsletter email address to my contacts to make sure I didn’t miss it even though I’ve been getting the newsletters.

So, now I just wait?

That seems to be the case, at least until the portal race is over.

For those interested, I was 12+ hours into the search when I finally got my portal.

It dropped during a rebuild the wall event, as I was killing a couple of jungle tendrils on the blue fort.

I would think you’ll get an email with the day/time of the beta after the beta key bunt is over. But I’m just guessing.

Yeah, I had the portal drop and don’t have a beta character slot either.

The first beta didn’t hand out a beta character slot until it began.

You get flagged to be part of it, but don’t expect anything until it happens (presumably aside from information saying when that will be).
