If I don`t pick specialization.....
You’ll probably be fine. Specs aren’t meant as straight-up upgrades and Warrior is currently strong in WvW so that likely won’t change. For instance, do you really think Dragonhunter will be more desirable in WvW than the core guardian specs we have now? Maybe for certain tasks, as it should, but it won’t at all overshadow the current specs unless the current specs are already undesirable in WvW.
Most likely when they initially release the specialisations they’ll be unbalanced (for good and bad). But I’m sure players will be more than happy to inform ANet of how and why, so ANet will very likely balance them out relatively soon after release.
Also, in addition to what was said above. Using the new specs doesnt mean you HAVE to use the new weapon or utilities… Sometimes the new traits are just useful for your older builds.

This.
Relatively soon being six months/never.
It’s fine. We know that the specs aren’t OP as others have said.
So you don’t want any traits? Sure I wouldn’t call it viable but go for it!
Just run away if you see a chronomancer.
You can spec into warrior’s elite spec and still be able to use axe/shield & longbow, you are not forced to use the new weapon.
