U can’t go in maguuma jungle, have elite specialization (1 new weapon for each profession) and play revenant if u don’t buy it.

Can you please link it or you mean whole wiki? Because for example yours and xan’s information about guild halls are different.

The simple fact is, we do not know. The devs have not gone in to detail about this just yet.

I’m assuming the next GW2 live stream will be an in-depth look at guild halls, so we can check them out then.

Not sure about the Guild Halls. But you’ll get he WvW and PvP changes.

- Guild halls are physically in the maguuma jungle, so you will need HoT to access them.
- Elite specializations also require HoT, core specs do not.

- Stronghold.
- WvW updates.
- New WvW borderlands.
- Specialization system.

Things that are confirmed to be HoT-only:

- Masteries
- Elite specializations.
- New areas.
- Future living story.
- Revenant.

Things I am unsure about:

- Guild Halls (I am pretty sure I read somewhere that creation of guild halls is HoT-only but people without HoT can still enter them).
- Guild leaderboards.

Are masteries confirmed hot only? Isn’t there a fractals mastery?

Most of HoT should be available to you.
