I am so sick of getting disconnected and then find out my space is filled up.

  • No, your 64bit client isn’t helping.
  • No, joining a party doesn’t help.

Implement a way to save my spot when I disconnect.

5x Warrior, 5x Ranger, 4x Elementalist, 4x Engineer,
4x Necromancer, 3x Mesmer, 4x Guardian, 4x Thief, 4 Revenant

I especially like when I get booted to character select and lose all my participation percentage…

i think theres a couple character model settings you can turn down a notch to help, one to do with quality and one to do with amount shown on screen, ive been using the normal client and just set those down to medium and havent had a crash since

Most wanted in game additions: Beastiary, readable books

Nope has nothing to do the quality.

I dc at any time of the day. Even when there is no one around

This is a different issue. I’m using the 64bit client, which has fixed the OoM errors.

The client isn’t crashing, I’m just getting sent to character select. When this happens, other people in map chat say the same has happened to them.

Same issues. Graphics at low, fast internet on my end. I’m Just sent back to character select and when l get back, I’m on a new map. No more T4 Progress in VB, no reward chest. Very frustrating.

Certainly my single most agonizing frustration is the loss of participation. Frankly, I’m not sure exactly how participation works, but to have a very high amount >100% and have it simply vanish is just deflating. I don’t even have it in me to rage-quit. I just don’t want to do it all over again.

I made a post asking for details about how it works, but didn’t get a response:

If anyone knows how Participation actually works, I’d love to know.

Participation seems to be more than being involved with any event, period. What I have found is that anyone in a support/healing role actually gets bronze almost all the time no matter if you started with the beginning of a group event or popped in somewhere in the middle.

Since Anet has introduced support/healing specs into the game, they should at least get recognized for their support/healing effort too. It should not always be based on damage alone.

THIS is also a problem. Getting disconnected and trying to get back in is not the only problem Anet needs to address.
