Why is the cost the same for a new player and for those who purchased the original gw2 and been with it since the beginning?

I remember when loyalty meant something in video games other than getting yet another birthday Queen Jennah….

Because the king has gone senile.

Because they made the core game F2P.

Now the only thing anyone ever pays for is HoT. And it’s the same for all.

Or those of us that didn’t pre-purchase get jack all… yea not giving Anet any more money after them telling me if I want to make that new class I just paid for I need to pay another $10.

The game went Free To Play which kittens everyone who owned the Buy To Play Guild Wars 2 core game. Preorders who got kittened received a character slot but those who were smart enough to wait to be fleeced get kittened a bit more. You’re better off waiting for a huge sale at this point.
