He is there, I traded influence with him or her yesterday. Look in all the rooms. I don’t remember which one he was in.

As you enter there are two NPC’s ahead of you with green shield’s above their heads. One directly in front and one slightly to the left. The one to the left is the influence trader.

There is no one on the left side, only the guild requisitioner way in the back (front of me if you enter) and on the right there is the guild-initative.notar. Those are the only ones with green symbols.
EDIT: There is only one with a green “shield”

Oh weird. When I entered that was another green shield. He was to the left hand side of the one ahead of you behind one of the pillars.

Possibly an issue there yeah. What level is your guild?

Perhaps that has something to do with it? Although truthfully I don’t think it should do. May be worth checking the Bug thread and posting in there.

I just finished updating my game and logged in, but there is no influence trader. I also failed to find any useful info in bug threads and to make things worse there is no mention as to whether or not we have to unlock them.
I have 6k in influence that I’d like to spend, but I can’t. I really hope that they bring that trader back and was not a one time deal for those that logged on just as the E-pack went live. I could live with having to do a quest to unlock such an npc, but no info at all???
Yes I searched every room in the office. If that matters.

You need 10K+ influence for the trader to show up. The minimum he trades is 10K so if you’ve got anything less than that then you can’t do anything.
Well, this is annoying. So any guild with less than 10k influence is just shafted? Was this made clear beforehand, so guilds with less than 10k would know to spend what little influence they had influence before the change took place? If so, I missed it. Now I am stuck with 8k influence that could have been used productively instead being completely useless, with no way to increase it or spend it.

I stumbled on a place to use influence when you have under 10K: at the mine. There is a Charr there who offers short mining rate boosts in return for influence.

The charr offers mining boosts for 100, and the resonance trader in the workshop will offer you resonance for 10, or the last bit of your influence if it is less than 10. The “less than 10” seems a bit buggy, as I’m currently down to my last point of influence, and I can click the buy button, but I get an error message and he won’t take that last 1 influence.
Basically, if you don’t have enough influence to trade for favor, wait and trade it for either mining boosts or resonance.
The mining boosts are laughably useless, so I highly reccommend saving anything less than 10k and just trading it for influence to use when you need some scribed stuff to build faster.
