These types of things tend to happen when they make system changes. It’s something you should have made sure to check.
Granted, they could have sent everyone an in-game mail early this week, but even then, someone would still be doing exactly what you’re doing…

To make it simple, they said that they would remove liquide experience and give xp booster instead to avoid people exploiting the wvw lvl up and building hero point faster than intended.
But I agree that this could have been said at least 1 month earlier.
No core profession should be balanced around an optional elite specialization.

I’ve logged in every day for months doing the dailies on WvW, I’m stuck at level 409 because I was saving all these and now its “so long, and thanks for all the fish”?
These are absolutely worthless, same with the Writ of Experience they changed into Tomes of Knowledge…
This isn’t the only game in town. Literally.

I was deliberately avoiding reading anything so it would seem new and exciting, also not happy my XP was replaced with a way to get XP since id already worked hard earning it, they could have at least progressed my wvw rank according what i had in my bank
