It really wasn’t. It was recommended because every 5 man group needed banners, PS, or EA. That said, only 1 warrior per 5 man group was taken. At the very most 2 warriors would be in a single group.

You do know that 1 or 2 out of 5 is a VERY good % of the group composition right?

That’s like saying warrior was not in demand because they made up no more than 20-40% of the group? That’s out of 8 (now 9) classes. Some classes were happy if they got taken along at all.

On topic, yes condi berserker does very good damage and is a lot easier to be played compared to an engi.

1x Ranger, 1x Warrior and 1x Mesmer are the class that are singularly needed for better team compositions. Sure you can make raid with 10 class stacking, but no1 will judge you:)

It pleases me greatly that people are joking about getting closer to the warrior+mesmer meta.
Coming from GW1 and maining a mesmer I feel proud mesmer has that much clout.

As far as I can tell it’s because conditions bypass toughness and berserker Warriors have the Longbow adrenaline burst which creates five burning zones in a row which on large targets that you hit multiple zones with can stack a huge amount of burning, which coincidentally is the strongest condition. They also have lots of bleeds and decent direct damage.

They aren’t exceptional on small targets or low HP targets but as far as raids are concerned those posetives make them pretty ideal.

wonder how ANet will balance this, as this really trivialize the challenge of the raid content.

I must have missed that memo.

Warrior in pve was in a good spot pre HoT (due to uniquness of banners) and is a good spot post HoT (thanks to mostly still banners). A class being desirable does not mean it has to be OP.

we all have to ask that questions before assuming something. It is a speed kill, but only one. Can others achieve that with different scenarios?

You have to consider synergy of teams, this is quite hard to balance because the possible combination are absurdly high, only time reveals this kind of emergent behavior and addressing it with nerfs will more likely hurt the class individually rather to fix the situation. I blame group buff mechanics but kinda can’t do much against them, maybe capping the buffs received, idk.

it’s been meta for every dungeon in the game. now that rage timers are a thing, zerk anything is now mandatory for raid.

For enrage timer mechanic i think they are a bit op. I mean 40k spike dps with burning/bleeding, jeez. A 3 second cooldown skill that is BETTER then any aoe field the warrior ever had (including the normal bow f1), has more hitboxes then the old one etc. It does even more damage then meteor shower i think (wich is a light armor )class, with longer channel AND longer cd). Also it requires to few effort (imo).

Basically, raids will have to be either ‘to easy’ (atm it sort of is to easy with a warrior, if you can do it in less then half time), or they will have to make them to hard for other professions but ok for warrior. such huge different I would call op (especialy with higher passive armor, and lower skill cap).

Anyhow, even a slight tweak down on the numbers will not make warrior bad, but at least will make the ‘warrior or kick’ thing go away. And it will make balancing future (enraged timed bosses – so probably all of them) easier.

Legendary weapons can be hidden now!
No excuse anymore for not giving ‘hide mounts’-option
No thanks to unidentified weapons.

exactly, now with these type of videos proving the multiple berzerker warriors in raid = easy and fast kill, how cant Anet not do something about that? I hope berzerker warriors effectiveness gets a huge nerf, no one class’s presence in a raid (with multiple of the same class) should make a raid content that supposedly be challenging to a joke.

Talking about a raid boss where it would not be as simple as it always removing all conditions. It would just be one of the mechanics of the fight. Like a boss that swaps modes between high toughness or immune/clear conditions.
