So I know there have been a lot of topics over the years about Magic Find, and whether it works or not, but have Anet finally killed off MF,

In nearly all new maps, Dry Top, Silver Wastes, and all the new maps from HoT they have heavily scaled back drops from enemies and moved it into chests, I find these chests and nearly all bags to be subpar, it bugs me no end that when you do a massive meta event and the final reward is some blues and a green.

I think it would be nice if Anet gave an official stance on MF and its future, its been capped at 300% for along time now, has it not been raised because they want to remove it, or what, some people are still wasting gold to get MF boosted and it maybe all in vain.

It’s still useful for PvP chests.

You still get a large amount of drops from enemies that aren’t bags. Every time you pick up a fine or better item from a mob your MF had an effect on it. I do wish that MF affected chests, but I’m ok if that never happens
