Is the new character slot available for those who bought HoT before the 23rd only? So anyone that doesn’t buy HoT by the 23rd will not receive the free character slot? Just wondering because, it would mean players have less than 24 hours to decide.

If you bought the game before jan 01 23 2015 or bought it from a 3rd party retailer after you will get a extra slot as long as you apply the hot serial code to your account before it launches for real ( when ever that happen to be)
