I have a quick question for people who are playing the beta is the glider dyeable? Or is it a static color you cannot change? Sorry I tried to search through google and use the GW2 forums search tool but nothing came up.

The Hero Panel wasn’t updated to include Glider skins in the past BWEs, so one could not dye the glider.

I’m not sure they will be dyeable when the panel is updated, but may work as other back items do.

I was trying to figure out the way they were going with this system. My original assumption was they were not dyeable from what I could see from recorded beta footage. Was wondering if they were just going to sell skins, drop in game, or eventually make them so you could change their color. However I am leaning on the idea they are just going to selling the unique skins via the micro-store. Especially now they are making more room in the upgrade section of the gem store.

Even in the beta weekends that we’ve had we haven’t even been able to see what the Heart of Thorns glider skin looked like for those that bought the Deluxe or Ultimate editions. The fact that it’s called a skin gives me some hope that we will be able to dye the different skins like how they added a separate dye section for the outfits.

Evon Gnashblade has been stocking a massive selection of pre-dyed gliders for discerning fashionistas, and Black Lion associates are busy packing them in to this holdiay season’s distribution of black lion chests. Don’t you worry!

We could use the Glider Skin during the BWEs. It’s green, and has a green smoke-like trail. Only those that double-clicked to add the skin to the Wardrobe prior to the BWE could not use it.

You can find plenty of screenshots and videos showing the skin on the forums, and the internet in general.
