There’s already the 50% reduced falling damage, and some rune that has it.
Unless they change that out, I wouldn’t think they’re gonna add this to it.

I think some would want a Mastery to increase falling damage, to judge by the various threads full of lemmings posting their top damage from leaps off Rata Sum.
I’d think Falling Mastery would let us do tucks, rolls, spins — all the diving goggle stuff — but still go splat at the bottom.

If they did want to have a mastery increase falling damage, they probably wouldn’t need a whole separate one for it. They could just roll it into the hang gliding mastery. Every level of hang gliding causes you to take x% less falling damage.
Not gonna lie. I read the subject of this thread as “Is there a Failing Mastery?”
I then proceeded to laugh and tried to imagine how ArenaNet would implement such a mastery track. Ahh…I needed that laugh tonight. Thanks, Pal.
