Just as the title reads, will there be a beta weekend to test out our elite specialisations before they go live?

I think a better question would be like this: When will it be?

Oh well we know from the revenant and stronghold test weekend a couple of weeks ago it stated they are preparing for a beta so I think next weekend before gamescom.

I don’t know if they’ll do a beta weekend just for the elite specialisations like they did for the revenant, but I assume we’ll be able to play as them in at least some of the beta weekends.

Contrary to what some people have reported it’s been possible to play as any profession in the past HoT betas, just most people chose to play as a revenant because it was their only chance to do that. The elite specialisations weren’t available, but neither was most of the revenant’s stuff (they only had dwarf stance and I think one other). But now they’ve started telling us the details of how they work I expect we’ll get to play them soon.
