Issue with Exalted Weapon Core recipes
I have that same issue. I’ve bought greatsword and shield recipes listed for artificer but can’t find it on artificer list. Someone have any information about that?
I believe it lists all three because the recipe also teaches you Auric Ingot smelting.
Had this issue with Axe, put it on Huntsman like “oh cool they made them craftable on any”.
Then when it didn’t work I shoved one on Weaponsmith, and it is in the list.
Looks like you’re right Urvis. It just taught me the Auric Ingot recipe but not the weapon core recipe itself. Bit misleading, but now we know.
Any one have that same problem?
I have the same problem.. changed from Artificer to Weaponsmith (lvl 0) and its there in the list.. sadly not on Artificer. Hope there will be a fix coming at some point, not gonna farm that again.
I just experienced the same problem.
Can we just get confirmation whether it’s a bug and not all professions should be able to learn all exalted core weapon recipies or if that’s in fact intended but crafting menu doesn’t show appropriate weapon categories?
That’s totally misleading!!
I bought Exalted Axe core which says Huntsman 400,
but no, cant make it with Huntsman skills.
Oh come on people, think before you use them how many other greatswords can artificers do or axes for huntsman for that matter?
Is this the same people that need may be hot on coffie cups from macdonalds?

That’s a bad comparison. More accurate would be “is not hot” on freshly brewed coffee cup. In-game tooltips read that you can craft them on all weapon-crafting disciplines. But you can’t. The information is wrong. Simple as that. And if only tooltip was wrong then you shouldn’t be able to learn the recipe in the first place.

Oh that wasent a comparison mate, Im asking?
If people cant understand that the weapons they have been crafting before need the same craft to be crafted in the future.
Is the same people who dont understand that coffie should be hot when brewed.

I’m not talking about complete weapons. Sure you can’t craft all weapons on artificer/weaponsmith or huntsman but what you buying is recipe for “Core” of specific weapon. Do you even know what are auric weapons and how to craft them? Seems not.
Furthermore I can’t fathom why are you defending AN on this matter. It’s surely a bug. One of many in HoT. It should be fixed one way or another…

But its not a bug the base material can be made by all 3 crafting disciplines, people need to think what their finished product come from and only use the recipie on those crafting disciplines.
Edit
As above poster mentions aswell

I thought it strange warhorn would display weaponsmith and artificer but thanks to the power of crafting knowledge… I bought the recipe for huntsman since that’s what the warhorn classes under..
don’t get me wrong I completely understand what the point of this post is and I agree with it..
Im just actually surprised to see people didn’t take that precaution..
