Before HoT Launchs, please.

  • Event mobs not giving proper XP – I just didn’t care killing stuff on evenst in VB, because they weren’t helping progress into my mastery. I tagged something and moved along to kill mobs that actually rewarded xp (Raptor farming is back!!)
  • Craft XP Ftw – Yeah, its cheating, and its easy. Carry along a crafting table to VB + Bonus to craft xp and progress tons of xp trough crafting. No, thanks.
  • Map completion rewards carrying over – So I imagine that everyone that got the tier 3/4/5 into mastery tracks used this little trick. 25k xp per city map completion, then moving up to verdant brink. Sums up to 150k xp per character.
  • How dungeon XP will affect this? – This is more a question, since atm dungeons gives 70% experience towards next level. How will it work on masterys?
  • Harder mobs = Higher XP – Since Xp will be a big part of the mastery in gw2, can we have big bulks of xp awarded for killing harder mobs? Vet/elite/champions. Maybe this can be a form of incentive to kill then.

Thankx in advance, I am sure that there are more cheat ways to get big bulks of xp without effort, and wayst to play the game that laxks this reward. So please report it here!

Map completion chests won’t be an issue as we will not be able to infinitely re-roll instant level 80 characters with city map completion done once the expansion hits.

I’m fairly sure that the exp from dungeons would be 70% of the exp at level 80 max. They could just move the exp that you would get to the daily chest. This would at least timegate it somewhat so they couldn’t repeatedly farm CoF.

Having tougher enemies give more exp wouldn’t be a good idea. People would find events again that they can scale up to produce nearly infinite champs.

Crafting has a high cost and you’re limited by having a level 80 character.
