This is good though, it does not take too long, or too quick to level masteries, imo i think it should take longer; do you really want everyone to max out all the masteries within 1 day?…

Remember, the amount of XP to fill the bar increases as you move to higher tiers in each Mastery track.
Thus, the bar will seem to fill more and more slowly.
I does move really slowly though, given the pacing of the content.

I got to level 4 and 3 last BWE. If I have time, I’m sure I can get to 6 if I felt like grinding.
The only limiting factor is the lack of exp in Verdant Brink (as compared to dungeon running exp bonuses).
Use food, utility, fireworks, banners, boosters..

well they are also testing leveling lengths of masteries as well as the actual masteries themselves

It does take a while. Be sure to use the nourishments they gave you. Those have exp gain in them. If you have boosters with exp gain in your bank, those are useable also.

Events are the best way to level up your mastery. The issue is that since its a beta, and only part of the map, you are limited in how many events you can do. During night time, keep finding supply runners to escort to camp sites. Its the most quickly repeatable event you can do.

The thing is though, during the daytime you can do a single event chain that lasts the entire day (or at least most of it), so you’re doing events constantly, but they are long events and don’t give a ton of reward for completing them.

it was so slow i gave up before i got the glider.
this is a beta test, kitten , make the levelling process faster so that we can try out without grinding our heads out

I will give a tip for quick mastery leveling, assuming it works as well as during BWE1. Remember that this is all accountbound, and the initial story chapter gives a solid chunk of XP. I took five characters through the story chapter so far, and that XP offered a significant chunk of what I’ve got. So if you can’t stand event grinding, maybe story chapter grinding would work better for you. It might not get you to maxed out masteries, but it should get you at least a Glider and maybe bouncing Mushroom. You haven’t even experienced HoT until you have those unlocked.
