Just finished the story, I did this after they removed the massive grind of Itzel Poison to continue.
Very disappointed in how little actual story content is included in this game, especially for the price I paid. The story without having to get masteries would take maybe 2hrs at the most.
This feels like a $10 DLC package not an expansion to an MMO, I paid less than $10 for the witcher 3 expansion and that had a longer story and loads of side quests, and they had free dlc like living story aswell.
Seems like the only thing that this has introduced is a massive grind to get Elite Specializations.

10/10 for bait and switch
3/10 for content

Well, now you know why they put in the Itzel Poison mastery to gate people, making them feel that the story is “long” lol.
And there aren’t even a single credit roll, disappointing.

Clear as day, anet just ran out of time.

LW S3 needs to be top kittening notch Anet.
And if you could use the money from all those full-game-priced expansion pre-purchases you sold to put some more context-giving missions before 15 and 16 that would be great.

It’s true that the price is a bit too much for the actual content. But hey, I know we’ll get tons of stuff later on for free. So it will pay off.
