I’m really excited to see the new legendaries. I wasn’t a huge fan of the first set with so many silly weapons (and I’m sure we will see more, which is fine for those that like them) but I did have to make a Howler and I love it!
But when hearing we would have a new set I would love to get a little teaser!
On a side note, as a norn ranger… if this ends up being the legendary staff I might actually die!
This staff looks really awesome !!
The rainbow color of the other legendary staff wasn’t in my taste at all, but this one is on point for me !

I think it’s like the best legendary design all weapons included (imo). Too bad my main is a thief :/

@Gaile… Speaking of ravens. If u could only make the ravens wings not be transparent (look at it when its short to long bit away from u. It extra visible in snowy areas.)….. Its a bug I have written about over ayear ago fist time.

Been playing since right from the beginning. All i need are icy runestones and a few lodestones. I started this recipe late. After i got every profession to 80 and main all geared. I still have not had a drop. Wondering if gaile can tell the devs that my rng is broken on my acct and to fix it. Lol:)
Its also a very old weapon. To be fair, today’s legendaries kind of look like crap compared to the BLC weapons we get anymore, but of course were the creme de la creme at launch.
I would hope if this one made it in it would be a lot more updated, but that’s a big if.

^ Totally agree with Pipra. Flashy animations and footfall effects are exactly the point of a Legendary. There’s Ascended for stats and looks (if you like them) and plenty of cool BL weapons now to fill the gap between boring and totally crazy animations. I’m not putting all that work into a short bow if it doesn’t fire Rainbow Unicorns!
hm…am i the only one seeing this thing ugly? wooden stick + glow woohoo. even tempest staff is more appealing, not saying crossing, delusion, zodiac, ascended, phoenix..and many more. hope its not new legendary

You are probably not a member of the #NornFamily… It doesn’t matter if it’s a leggy or not, we the norns need that weapon! uh they should add mor of those with the other spirit of the wild animals…

New cult weapons also sounds pretty cool. Still I hope that the new leggy’s are a bit more beautiful then those cult weapons.. Imagine what I should do with my money if I can buy cult weapons with karma … #thoughlife

…Have you seen the Bifrost? It’s an albino pineapple on top of a bone stick.
This staff DESTROYS the Bifrost. I want it so bad and I don’t even have/like norns. Plus I’m sure it would have an aura, footsteps and a different (maybe bird-like) projectile…

I had saved in my account a gift of Mastery, a gift of fortune, 100 icy runestones, gift of Metal (for possible greatsword) and other crap I can’t rememember anymore, and It was all useless, since I can only use them for the old legendaries…. I guess I have no other choice besides resign myself to use my very manly, pink flowery Longbow…. Useless work…Since I’ll just grab ascended weapons then…
With a Guardian named Thor Odinson(traditional red-headed Thor) and a Mesmer named Santa Odin(Odin being one of the original inspirations for Santa Claus)…I believe this is now a moral imperative that I acquire this.

The bolded part is rule 101 when speculating. Convert [insert speculated good] into the least refined/ economical item to allow for potential resale.
I remember Woodenpotatoes bought Zap in speculation for Bolt. When he found sword was not the Tempest’s weapon, because he had not bound the blade he could re sell it.
In the case of legendaries, there was no point buying 100 icy rune stones because you could just set 100g aside and if Icy rune stones were needed, you could buy it at any time – after all the vendor’s prices won;t change. For people who have invested in Icy Rhinestones, fortunately for them, they will be needed, but my point still stands that you did;t need to gamble 100g for them. A lot of the other items won’t win this gamble.
Lesson: don’t refine stuff, especially stuff that can be refined at a later point – this allows for reselling.
