So the current characters could shine.

Make it so we could kill them ourselves one by one, and make them as horrible and hideous looking as possible. A parasitic fungi created by Mordremoth has infected survivors, and once this fungi develops inside the body, it will make the victim lose his mind and become a mindless servant of Mordremoth. They become like the Infected in the game The Last of Us, but now they serve a master. We could even select which one to finish off first, then one of the fabulous Biconics will get an upgrade (elite specialization). Or maybe not, you could even unceremoniously kill them off.

Current characters are not interesting with the possible exception of Braham and Taimi, however I absolutely hate Marjory and Kasmeer for being barbie girls, Rox is in the middle but it could at least become more appealing later on. Old characters except Rytlock (coolest so far, it’s funny to see that him and Tybalt are the characters that people like the most) and possibly Eir aren’t that good either, and we all hate Trahearne…

I ask myself that same question with some of the posts I read on the forums.

Although he never got to the iconics, this is basically what Shiro did in Guild Wars Factions…

Are you playing the same game as the rest of us? Why does the OP have such a dislike for the characters or are they trolling the forums. I enjoy watching the character’s develope as we move through the personal story. Great job Devs.

I would rather kill off the new characters from LS1 and 2 and continue to develop the old characters. :/ The new ones aside from Braham and Rox are particularly annoying.

No thank you, I hate most of the current characters in Destiny’s Edge 2.0. I’d rather they got killed off.

Please, no. The LS1 and LS2 are some of the worst, especially the Biconics. They even make me think of Trahearne fondly.

D.E. was far superior to these guys. But nothing beats the monk from factions. That dude was the legitist.

I love this game so much, but I’ll admit that the Scooby gang (a.k.a. Destiny’s Edge 2.0) is pretty nauseating. Especially Marjory and Kasmeer. I don’t have a problem at all with their relationship, but I do get tired of them reminding me every 5 seconds, even when they’re not around.

Kid NPC’s playing pretend in Lion’s Arch: “Okay, but if you’re Marjory, you gotta let me kiss you! Tee hee!”

Also, the script is borderline unbearable with some of the lines they give these guys.

Kasmeer: “Oh honey-pumpkin cuddly-bear, you scared the rainbow marshmallow fluff out of me!”

Really?… REALLY?! Okay, I exaggerated that a little, but they can get pretty close to that level of absurdity. It’s also annoying that they call you “Boss” when you feel like a footnote in the story. The focus of the story is obviously on them while you are more of the sidekick, unfortunately.

Should we kill them off? Probably not. Should the focus shift more towards you as a hero while they work out their own personal problems? Definitely yes in my opinion.

The interaction between Kasmeer and Marjory is just….ugh. I’m sorry, but real life couples do not behave that way. It’s cringe worthy. And I just don’t like their characters to begin with.

I don’t mind Rox though. Taimi can get annoying sometimes, but she is more tolerable than Kasmeer and “Jory.”

Destiny’s Edge was the best team,
well unless we count Cynn, Eve, Devona, Aidan and Mhenlo!

the new team just seems too forced,
not a fan of braham (could be the hair, could be that he’s supposed to be Eir’s kid, not feeling it!)
rox isn’t as interesting as Rytlock.
they tried to hard to make taimi cute and silly, zojja got the balance better.
and majory and kasmeer…dam hiccups…i’m all for LBGT pride but their relationship just seems awkward in this game.

I wonder what would have happened if it was Logan that became the first revenant instead of rytlok….
