King of the Jungle
Very few players attempt this. There is no real incentive (rewards are crap and you’d earn more watching virtual grass grow in Elona), and the only people who attempt it do it for the achievements. There is usually a map that succeeds at least once a day. Keep an eye on the lfg. It took me a few days to find a map that way that succeeded to get my own achievements.

That’s why I need to do it. Trying to unlock the headpiece and title for my revenant. I feel like the map itself is broken as a whole. Anyways I tried to guest on a different world. Is there a best world for it?
The event is much easier than it used to be, with some organisation, it’s rare to see a map fail.
Try it during the weekend or during prime time. There’re usually LFG taxis 15-20 mins before the meta is due to start.
I do this event once a day, every day for my Amalgamated Gemstone. I’ve yet to see it fail in weeks.
I’’m afraid to do Tangled depths Meta.
For Masteries.
Only because I always play off-hour and don’t want to waste time with meta failure :/
Its not hard to do, just nobody does it. The only time I ever manage to do it is if I show up 30 minutes early, tag up myself, convince others to tag up, get the taxis going and even then it is just stressful trying to get enough people in the map to participate. Really sucks that so much is locked behind doing it. Like the chak eggs for chak weapons.
After reset there is usually 2-3 maps that complete it. The challenge is getting 3 other people to tag up and command. Filling a map is easy, so the demand is there, it’s just organization.
The meta is usually done every time. It’s just that the map(s) that so it tend to fill. If people tagged up, any map instance can do it.
The meta has already been nerfed to the point that it’s a faceroll. It doesn’t need to be nerfed further.
The meta is being done many times per day and I would say it is faceroll easy after the nerfs, use the lfg system.
Yeah you need to start organising a map after it resets to be in with a chance of doing it, or luck in to a map that’s already organized. I did mine shortly after launch, mid November, then a few times after the April patch. It’s quite a quick one to be fair, and very easy. The fact it fails is that people in general don’t like TD as a map. I’m still to map it as I really don’t like it, and trying to remember my way around makes my head hurt.

Guesting isn’t very useful. Just check the LFG 15-20 minutes before the start of the meta. You can check http://gw2timer.com/ and similar sites for that. The wiki might also have a timer.

Indeed it does. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Event_timers
@OP Worlds / guesting is useless since the megaserver system released late 2014: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/April_2014_Feature_Pack#Megaserver_system (NOTE: some more things have gone megaserver since then. Now server only matters for WvW.)

Guesting does impact which map instance you end up in but it is largely irrelevant with the LFG dictating which maps are running the meta.
