[edit] The list of Durmont priory dead is available here : https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/hot/LORE-Wall-of-Durmond-priory-dead/first#post5727874

I found this “wall” covered with symbols in Verdant Brink at the WP “Pact Encampment Waypoint”. I knew immediately that’s the words on it was written in New Krytan (See the wiki page : http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/New_Krytan )

2 hours later i’ve translated it all and the meaning of this wall makes me very sad.

On the top-right, in bold it’s written : ORDER OF WHISPERS

Then the wall is split in 4 columns, with 4 block par column (except the 4th column who had only 3 blocks and the first column who had 5.) Each block have 3 lines.
One the first line, you have the name and the role.
On the second line, the race.
And finally the reason of the death.

7 fell to there deaths exploring,
3 died defending the helpless,
2 stung to death by bees
1 lost in the jungle
1 killed by Saurians
1 died one the line of duty
1 died to bloodstone dust poisoning,

You would think they would invest more into gliders.

Thank you for translating that. Maybe the falling deaths got them working harder on making functional gliders … maybe the deaths were in glider prototypes and we, the Commander, have been given evolved versions as a result of the lessons learned.

Doubtful. Apparently no Charr died

Charr just always land on their feet apparently.

Also, I couldn’t help getting a chuckle from the late Sorin The Always Lost being a Scout.
I suppose the title could have been added to his name after the job interview.

Or, they’re so much better at being stealthy, even dead they can’t be found

I’v got some news. Someone found similar “wall” in other maps of HoT. I’ll see theses, this afternoon and make a translation of it. It can be the memorial of Vigils or Durmand Priory.
