As we got an update to the keys dropping from map events in new HoT maps, one map still stayed low: Dragon Stand.

We only get keys in section of map progression rather than for events like on all other maps now. With such limited supply of machetes and increased amount of pods everywhere on the map I feel like I’m missing out whenever I have to skip the pods since I don’t have enough keys to open them. Can this be adjusted or looked into?

DS is the only map that is still designed mostly around the cycle and contribution bars, so I wouldn’t expect that to change.

DS is kind of the only map that it makes sense to do this way, since it’s an actual progression style map where you have to push to the boss and have enough people to do so to “win” whereas the other HoT maps have always been sort of “peace phase” and “boss phase” designs.

DS is all “boss phase” all the time, except for the brief period after you win.

Not to mention you buy machetes with currency from the other three zones. That currency is so easy to get right now, it shouldn’t really be a problem.

If you choose for it, you can get an extra 12 machetes from the chest. In my experience that makes it pretty good machete-wise that you get for free.

12 machetes and some crowbars. IIRC the other choices were terrible in comparison. Unless the devs forgot to indicate the number of the other items would get because 12 machetes + crowbars versus something like 1 bottle of airship oil is just not much of a choice.

map currency in the other 3 maps drops like candy at halloween; just buy the machetes. :/
