I opened my [Ley-Energy Matter Converter] and in last tab I saw something that made me think for a while, which one I should buy a large bag of obsidian or a medium bag of obsidian.

Are those shards in large bag made in china and have a lower quality?
May be I’m being conned and the large bag is empty!
Where is that vendor anyway, why is it not coming out of shadows!
if I buy large bag of obsidian, I’ll get 5 more obsidian shard for free. A while back, Anet banned some players because of doing a similar thing with [Glob of Ectoplasm].
Will I get banned for buying a large bag for same price as medium bag?

Well, I was being sarcastic. However I still like to know what is Anet’s thinking behind making this?

There’s no comparison.

• Obsidian can’t be easily turned into coin, whereas ecto can be.
• The ecto exploit was due to it being infinitely repeatable; there’s a limit to one purchase/day for the ley-energy converter.

Looking at the Wiki, it says that “The other tabs consist of two currency containers and three other items of the lists which change every day.” out of a long list of items. So your list appears to be a random list where the 2 “currency containers” both happen to be Obsidian today.
