Anyone else seeing sporadic ping times today? I’m jumping anywhere between 60 and 300ish, but even when it is low I see a noticeable delay with skills firing. Checked speedtest.net for overall speed as well as latency and consistently can stay in the 25ms range. That seems to rule out my ISP. Strange thing is I haven’t seen anyone else post about this today.

It has been a few days to maybe over a week that I started noticing the latency to be erratic.
I would generally play with an average of 160ms, but lately it has been all over the place, from 160 to 2.5k ms.

Just now I have made a speed test and found that my connection is solid. All streaming services are working fine. All of this while gw2 is sitting at character select on the background.

Latency to 64.25.40.117 (character select server) is varying from 200 to 480ms with nothing else on the background.

Playing from a country with sub standards network quality, I grew accustomed to varying latency from time to time, but with gw2 it has been consistent. Every single day, and every single time I play I see this happening.

I won’t jump boat anytime soon, but one thing that can really make me give up on an online game is kitten latency.

Hope network team sees this.

A lot of people complained about lag today, myself included so I guess they let the Asura tech krewe near the servers again and they got stuck into a debate about how to properly configure them for “optimum efficiency”.
