My question is simple. i want to know if there will be the same kind of crafting in the mystic forge for these new legndaries, or are they only obtained through the collection system. any kind of answer backed up with proof or a quote from a Dev would be awesome. thanks so much!

If you are asking if it is possible to throw in, say, 4 L80 staffs and receive the precursor for Nevermore (or any other HoT Legendary) from the Mystic Forge, the answer is no.

If you are asking if it is possible to still get precursors for the core Legendaries from the Mystic Forge, the answer is yes.

If you are asking if the recipe to create the new Legendaries is exactly the same as the recipe to create the core Legendaries, the answer is no. The recipe for the new Legendaries uses new Gifts.
