Legendary Bug Fixes Incoming
Maybe cause they aren’t really in the office until Monday? Easier to post on reddit then on business stuff?

Why would they need to be in the office to post here? Clearly that doesn’t stop them from posting elsewhere.

Sorry … White Knights are immune to reason and logic.
Well, nothing on the events which we have to miss voluntarily, other than those were mentioned? Arah and Dwayna is not the only events in this case, 3 days for which I wait Icebrood Quaggan Champ, and he never come because always a player to make successfull of the previous event, preventing the transformation of the quaggan… And i wait all the day, not juste few hours…
Anything about world boss collection crap? Sick of hanging around teq trying to get sucked in the whirlpool. Honestly why cant they just update these things immediately by getting rid of the collections until they can fix it properly.

Posts to the official forums by developers need to be vetted and approved (presumably by some PR person/committee). I assume posts to reddit do not.

Unfortunately they don’t post here first (as much as we would like them too). It is likely easier to post to reddit first (white knight incoming) due to not having to jump through hoops to do it. (It also seems to give them more ‘deniability’ if something goes wrong)

Sometimes they post here first, sometime on Reddit. Usually, on Reddit, I see a ton of posts linking back to “red posts” on the forums.
I don’t think it really matters except that someone in their communications department hasn’t made it easy to spread the news around. There’s no reason why the forums couldn’t include cross links to reddit.

Oh yes, they used to. And sure, sometimes they still do, but for the most part, most of it seems to come through reddit now. Which is why Flesh made that handy thread for us. Given what’s been said, it just sounds like theres too many hoops and too much post ‘sanitation’ if they want to put things here. Which is sad.
And no, there’s no reason to not use the assorted alternative methods of communication. We’ve had a similar gripe about twitter, facebook, etc posts that never get around to being put on here. What they need is some sort of rss feed that gathers all of those into one place for us. For quick/easy reference and visibility. Similar to how the dev forum records all of the red post activity.
They post on reddit more because more people post there, will see it, and give more realistic feeeback. The user base is more varied than the almost 100% negativity that can be found in this forum. The discussions on reddit offer a more realistic look on what the general opinion is on anything gw2.

I think gaile said that was a myth recently.
