Personally? Another axe? I hope this 'leak' is wrong. A battle axe now.... that'd be cool.

How do you know it’s really not celestial as it looks similar to those from GW1?

You know, maybe that was the plan all along with removing the key farm. Celestial was a very popular set. I’m sure people will be lining up to buy keys to get their hands on one of those skins.

I don’t know. They say its new and legendary. This makes me think it actually might be a new legendary. However, on the other hand, it looks offaly similar to Frostfang. I would think if they were adding a new legendary axe that it would have a different color scheme.

Why didn’t they include the tool tip too?

Just look at the textures.

Even if its unlikely, part of me wishes these were BL. Looks like a beautiful theme. A staff in that theme in the shape of a scythe? You could forget about it. I’d buy 100, just so when i go through my bags I could be sure to see it over and over.

I hope it’s a Celestial weapon set. I’de get a Celestial longbow for my DragonHunter for sure.m

1. the word you’re looking for is awfully, offal is the intestines of slaughtered animals.

2. Go and look at Frostfang again, because really don’t look anything alike.

The text above that second image says to look at the textures. The actual weapon models themselves may not be the same between the two games.

1. I did not see a second picture. I only saw what was shown in the link.
2. I meant in relation to the color scheme. Both are white and blue colors. In my opinion, its more likely that the new set of legendaries will have different colors that counter the original legendaries. For example, sunrise has very light colors while twilight has very dark colors. This allows players to choose which greatsword they want based on what type of colors the character uses for their armor.

If you like dark colors and have black are dark armor, its unlikely that you would like Frostfang since it follows a “lighter” color scheme. Therefore, I believe they are probably going to add an axe with a “darker” color scheme to cover more preferences. Likewise, bolt seems to follow more of a darker color scheme. Therefore, the new legendary sword my be lighter to cover more preferences. All of this is speculation. However, it would make sense from Anet’s point of view.

The blue color is likely caused by a distortion as it appears that the screenshot was taken from a camera phone from what looks like a downward angle.

looks to me like what would happen if the legendary greatswords make whoopy with the pact axe… Not really my personal thing.. but not ugly at all.

Could be real, since one of the game designers joined DnT quite recently.

I really like it, but not enough that it would be worth doing all the stuff needed to acquire a legendary. Haven’t seen one yet that is worth all of that.

If it actually turns out to be a Black Lion weapon skin, I’ll surely pick this up as well as several of the others in the set based on this one as I like its style.
