So how about it, why not publicise the number of copies sold in the first week for the GW2 beta pre-purchase and this week’s total for HoT?

Or are the numbers that disappointing they wont?

There’s nothing to say they will or will not. It’s also probably unsafe to assume that the numbers aren’t looking at least reasonable. For as many people that don’t like the price, a good number have bought the pre-purchase despite that or have pre-purchased it because they feel $50 is fair. There is also a large number of people both here and on reddit that don’t feel the price is deserved, but it’s hardly talked about in-game. Chances are their sales are not booming but they are probably not regretting the decision.

It would be interesting to see the numbers, but they don’t seem to announce financial stuff about the company here on the site. You would have to look at the quarterly earnings reports to find out the effects of this pre-purchase.
