During the last 10min or so of the test I found myself running around in 1st person admiring the scenery and graphics and thought I should start taking loads of pics. I am curious to see how everyone else’s turned out. Feel free to post them below

I did the same towards the end of test time

This is my best shot.

Here’s some of my flashier ones. I also took a lot which are for information purposes like the map and the mastery panel, but they’re not as fun to look at.

I fear I was far too involved playing to screenshot much, but I did get the initial appearance, a Malyx form, and my dyed armor in sunlight (note: the chest sigil and the ribbed lines on the back actually glow the color you dye them, much like the Magitech lenses on the medium coat).

I found pocket raptors! And…whatever that thing on the right is. Have to admit I was kind of relieved it was already dead.

lol not like his file structure matter much, not to mention that specific path as it is a pretty standard one that is exactly the same as 99% of others ppl with the game xD

I was looking for those! I never found that little ravine, which quadrant of the map is it in?

Silly me wait. I just mentally edited out your UI, which shows it just fine.

I had a lot of fun trying out the events and seeing if I could keep the Revenant skins somehow!

Didn’t crash out at all and managed to grab a few screenshots.

I thought about editing it out of mine and then decided I couldn’t be bothered because it doesn’t show anything secret. The file path is the default for everyone using Windows 7 and my real first name is a) already associated with this username in some places and b) so ridiculously common it’s almost useless as a way of identifying me.

Nothing wrong with making an informed choice. You are aware. You chose. All good .

I took a few. I wished I had gotten one of the Wyvern fight it was pretty spectacular. I loved the pocket raptors! True ankle biters, lol. The first picture looks like one of those ‘heroic’ paintings you see in a museum.

I must say it was a great experience! And I can’t wait until the time comes that we can go into that world and explore more.

Here is less exciting, but informational shot showing the map. You can see three skill points and a couple of zones. I’ll try getting the whole map in sections next time, but I didn’t want to spend all my time on that.

Unfortunately we had to create a human character for the beta.

Linking the armour skins in chat for outside of the test area couldn’t be clicked and worn in a preview either.

I transmuted juggernaut to see if it had any extra effects on the hammerskills. Alas, I couldn’t find anything. But the way revenant wields that hammer it was still totally worth the transmutation charge.

Just for reference: Using a transmutation charge (or any other stuff for that matter) during the beta does NOT subtract it from your live account. As far as I understand, you got a copy of your wallet (not gems) during beta-char creation.

That said, learned to fly the wrong kind of way:

the Condition Symbol for slow is the most cute & hilarious thing i have seen in Guild Wars 2 so far

Children, please. Do yourself a favor and get some GemFX love going on.

Here are some screencap spams of the wyvern, highlighting the awesomeness of first person, over the shoulder, and FOV mechanics when coupled with GemFX’s pseudo depth of field feature. Gliding just got that much more amazing.
