Level 80 Booster - Suggestion
You could go around playing the game to level your character up I guess.
As for getting a level 80 boost from tomes, no thanks. The boost not only got you to level 80, it also fully unlocked all of your specializations and skills, gave you a full set of exotic gear specific to your class, with nice runes applied to the gear as well. Thats way too much to get from just turning in tomes.
The 80 boost do not unlock elite specializations.
that it makes every other class in the game boring to play.”

Hi there,
Ive been stacking 100’s of tomes of knowledge for a good while now. Recently Anet introduced the instant level 80 boost with the HoT purchase.
I hate clicking my way through tomes to get to level 80, to then also have to click through the chests, and then delete/sort all the trash that i get from them. Its time consuming and not fun.
It would be a nice addition to be able to somehow convert your tomes for an instant level 80 boost like that we were given with the HoT freebie, maybe even for more than 80 tomes, say 100…just to thin out vast amount stacking up on everyones accounts?
Just an idea ^^
How often do you level new toons to 80? How much time do you spend splitting your stack of tomes and …um, clicking 158 times? Seems like a lot of work for ANet for something that most people won’t use more than a few times.
I fully understand the concerns raised above but this would be quite a nice convenient feature for those who like alts but have levelled so many times the novelty has worn off.
However, the instant setup of exotic equipment and runes is quite a valuable perk and I would go so far as to say you would need at least 160, or even a full-stack of tomes, to equal this in value.
As for the work for Anet – yes they do have a lot on, but this could be quite easily added as an item on Miyani’s list without having to create a new vendor, and they clearly already have the coding for it after releasing the inst-80 item in the Spring release.
All that said, I would be surprised if this actually happened!
