Title says it all — does the XP from crafting level up mastery tracks?

Sadly it does not. I needed to get one of my crafting professions up anyway and it didn’t do anything for my current mastery (fortunately that wasn’t my goal).

Thanks very much! If I may ask — where did you craft? Lion’s Arch? If so, I wonder whether it matters if you use a crafting station in one of the map zones.

Yea it was in LA. Map completion in LA still counts for mastery exp so I’m thinking this is an intentional thing to prevent players from power levelling their masteries via crafting.
