1. Do you get a full box of Ascended Armor or is it 1 item you can choose from Completing the collection of getting all armor skins unlocked?

2. Can you buy the armor( ley line) anywhere like SW Cara box’s for tokens?

I know you can get them from Story quests Chapter 16, but I do not have 18 lvl 80’s nor will I ever haha, well technically 15 since you get the coat box’s from MOM event. I do the events once a day and have for over a week I got 2 box’s from pods…none from events, is it really this stupid RNG to get the collection done? At least in SW you could do Achievments to unlock them and buy them with currency, this is based sorely on RNG I love the Ley line armor sets, well done arena net, poorly done on acquiring them all.

It’s always been a choice of choosing one piece. Refer to the FotM table when choosing.

Leystone armor cannot be obtained from vendors.

Sorry it says a Box of Armor that says to me a full set of armor, especially how hard it is to aquire these items since they are RNG. Do you have confirmation on this? Have you got the achievement to confirm? That does not include the Ley Line Collection in it.

There’s no reason to suggest that they’re be any different that the Ascended Armor Chests. I may be able to complete it as I have 9 of those Leystone boxes sitting in my bank and perhaps some for the specific pieces.

I think you can get a Leystone Glove box from a one-time PVP reward track, as for the RNG of the DS meta, yea, rather low, but I usually get a box from the meta completion, and 1 box from noxious pods every couple metas.

As far as the ascended box, no box ever has given a full set of gear.

Ok that would be great Ayril if you could finish and confirm. Im currently lvling my elementalist who is lvl 67 and I wanna know if I should make her armor or if indeed this is a full set , do not wanna waste mats and time. @ Ven Zehn do you know specifically what you need to do to get the glove box? Thanks!

Tink, it is only one piece of armor… no one needs to complete anything, it says the same on ALL achievement boxes that offer the ascended armor boxes as rewards. I know its stupid cuz the semantics lend itself easily towards it meaning a full set, but it is one piece of armor your choice. Besides, Anet would be a fool for offering a full set as a reward (current value in mats is 300-400 gold), as it would only serve to fully circumvent the entire need for ascended armor crafting to begin with for one single achievement obtained…

Not sure exactly Tink, but there should be areward track in pvp, that if you complete it, you get a box.
You might have to do a step to open the reward track though, perhaps doing the DS meta or something like that.

EDIT: Maybe not:( just checked wiki, the only HoT armor box track is for the bladed gloves.
