These Tools are seriously gated behind a massive wall.
1 player needs to collect them all, and still have 400 weaponsmithing to craft one.
Otherwise the items alone are still useless.
I’d vow for a system where the requirements can be deposited individually into the treasurer, like the following.
for mining rate 3 that would look like:
- 65 Charged Quartz Crystals
- 65 Ley Line Sparks
- 65 Orichalcum Mining Picks
- 3250 Bloodstone Dust.
Even if we still had to craft them, someone could just do this near the Mining Dude? Maybe add another tab to his UI?
This way EVERYONE can gather stuff for their guild, and one player can refine them.
I don’t understand the point in having many individuals to have it all.
The only real issue I have with it is the charged quartz. If your guild doesn’t have a player that benefited from the brief splurge from the tots (or was it wintersday gifts?), the gate of 1 per day per player has become a massive hindrance seeing that they are now required for so many more things.
The Quartz are the least of the concerns to me, the only thing is that you might have players who own quite a bit – but don’t have the other requirements.
So they’re just sitting their being useless untill the player decides to do what it takes to get the remaining stuff.
I just wish for a system where these players can just donate their Quartz without the need for the weaponsmith and sparks aswell.
These individual materials are useless, untill a player can craft it alone. (as you can’t trade Quartz/Sparks)
Well that’s moreso an issue of the players themselves not leveling up the respective masteries.
I disagree, it’s a matter of players not having:
- leveled their weaponsmith to 400
- Done HoT story till step 11&13
- Not mastered enough in certain masteries.
To me this is all a bit much to request from 1 individual players for progress that’s guild wide.
