I want to know is there a point in rebuilding Lion Arch, when the next thing you know it will be destroyed again. As with people have found young Karka hidden in the construction materials.
So, what was the point of rebuilding when the enemies are already IN LA. I think if the devs want LA to be in ruins, I guess there is no point in rebuilding, because the next thing you know, some enemies are going to destroy it again. And again, and again. It gets tiring when for the n.th time you “saved” LA, only to see it get destroyed again and again…etc.

There could be some Karka infestation event during construction. I don’t they’re going to destroy it again, at least not for a long time.

I guessing the whole Karka thing could be a lead up to another event to do while we wait for HoT.

Sure there’s a point in rebuilding. As said they’re making better fortifications so the city is better prepared for the next lunatic. Also, Lion’s Arch is home to many people.
And if you wonder why these people don’t just go live somewhere else… That doesn’t happen in the real world either, otherwise we wouldn’t hear about hurricanes tearing people’s houses down more than once in the same place.

There could easily be some arena game involving karka or some event like others mentioned.

Don’t know why people are thinking LA would be destroyed by a few karka. It took a massive ley line drill last time.

They are rebuilding LA because it’s a ridiculous plot hole for newer or returning players that only confuses those who haven’t played Living Story 1.

Also for a hub city it’it’s not well organized right now or before the destruction. Not too impressive to new players. And even old players a lot of us don’t like beat up looking places as a primary game location.

I almost quit GW1 after the searing because I suddenly got dumped in this beat up brown/gray land I couldn’t figure out how to get out of.

There is ALWAYS a point in rebuilding.

Asura characters: Zerina | Myndee | Rissa | Jaxxi | Feyyt | Bekka | Sixx | Akee | Tylee | Nuumy
| Claara
Your skin will wrinkle and your youth will fade, but your soul is endless.
