Sarcasm aside, this is probably why the Pact Fleet went down. He was using his left hand, having issues carrying his shield, and he must’ve lost his Guild Tower Shield…

The last panel of that is the only thing amusing… “let me hold my shield away from the enemy”. Nothing particularly wrong with being a lefty… Link is a lefty.

Also… think the artists had a hard time figuring which way to flip the shield lol.

dont you know? the shield isnt actually used to block hits. it’s like a counterweight for your weapon arm!

Maybe he had just dispatched one foe and was pivoting to the next? Or was defending to one side only to have more combat erupt by his sword hand? Swords can block too, y’know!

Seems true to the game. Guardians in game only use shield for looks and not actual combat.
