Guild Wars 2

I unlocked this collection and decided to start chipping away at it, and I think this may be bugged. I got an aurillium ingot out of a chest in the basement of Tarir and it did not update the collection, which requires that exact item. Anyone know why? Do I have to obtain this item a different way?

can you give a screenie of luminate’s backpack collection with overal list of what it requires?

Still no updates for this collection, would love a response! Or at least put the item from the exalted merchant on the exalted merchant

Nobody is responding because this isnt the bug forum.

Everytime you open the forum overview, you will see an announcement on the right side of the screen. Its there since HoT launch and it says where to exactly post, if you have any issues related to HoT.

I’ve seen people with the Illuminated title, so it has to be doable. I think the items you get from the chests have to be specific collection items, in otherwords things that can’t be used as crafting mats. And one of the chest items looks like, and is named similarly to the material.
As for the merchant items, make sure you have high enough mastery, if any masteries are needed.

I am usually one of those white knights, but been reading lots of “Not added/Available yet”. That’s in my opinion rushing things… why have something out that is not obtainable, players seem to progress faster than developers expect. :P

For those having issues, did you get the auric back item from completing the auric weapon collection?

So I have unlocked all the stuff in this collection accept the 2 item in the pic (Extra-Shiny Auric Sliver: Defeat champions at the skritt outpout, and Illuminated Tendril: Defeat champions at the ranger outpost)

According to wiki and dulfy’s guide those 2 items should drop from the Golden Ooze event, and the corpse champion.
I guess those are Auran on west and Blight Tender Monocot on south, problem is I’ve killed both multiple times and gotten nothing for the collection.

Is it bugged, random drop or I’m doing something wrong?

RNG. Keep trying, took me ages.

The tendril was the item I farmed the longest for. I was under the impression it only dropped from the Monocot and 2 other cots. I managed to get mine from the legendary boss on the south east path. So for sure you can get it from 2 of the 3 paths when it splits up.

After many tries I also got the tendril from legendary Wyvern on SE path.
Now camping Westwatch boss events for the Extra-shiny sliver.. thanks for the helpful tips.
