Can we earn Hero Points in Maguuma ?

I dislike the idea of having to choose between playing the new content or playing the old content in order to unlock the new elite specs.

I only have world comp on two characters, all my remaining classes would need to do HP hunts in old content in order to unlock their elite specs.

From what we were shown in the betas it doesn’t look like it. Instead of places having Hero Points they had Mastery Points.

I know that much, I’ve closely followed all released info for HoT, this is kind of an advanced topic question……

The answer is probably yes. We still don’t know how many but if we go by the amount that was datamined for the e-specs there should be at least 37.

On the contrary, it seems like a very simple question that has an equally simple answer: No.

It has been stated that if you have world completion then you will have enough hero points for every elite spec released. Due to this and the fact that we don’t see hero point on any of the beta maps it shows that HoT was designed around existing hero points being enough to get your specs without adding more to the Maguuma.

This should get an answer that is not all guess work. we’re less than 2 weeks out and hero points are going to be critical in using the new specialization. People could save themselves a lot of pain on day one if they knew the answer to this simple question now.

Answering how mean hero points are needed for the new specs would be better but I would be happy knowing just this one.
