This mentoring thing is in the same track as speed boost while in cities and automatic looting.

My question is:

Is this mentor batch / marker something I can activate and deactivate on command ?

See, I’m not interested in these markers / badges at all, but the speed boost and the automatic looting options ? oh yes I want them.

It would be nice to have an official response to this, since anything else would be useless and pure speculation.

Yes, you can activate/deactivate it, as they write in blog:

“Unlocking the Pact Mentor Mastery will give you the option to toggle on mentoring mode, which will place a badge next to your name and at your position on the map, as well as giving you a mentor title in chat.”

I guess you can activate it where you can toggle your commander tag on and off. At least there was a development placeholder ((xxxxxxxx)) there during BWE2.
