It is great ArenaNet has listened to one of the biggest complaints about unlocking traits especially for alts made after the feature patch of april 2014 and made the masteries acountbound. I hope ArenaNet will do the same with traits when they release Heart of
Thorns. So when you unlock them for one character you unlock them for every character you have and will make in the future.

From Gaile Gray’s comments on the traits megathread, I get the impression that the Spring 2k15 feature pack will be a thing, will hit before the xpac, and will include Traits 3.0. But this is wild speculation, so stay cautious.
