I searched around the forum, I could not find anything on this and so have decided to post.

Like you do with hero challenges, it would be greatly appreciated if you put a mastery point tracker to the world map so players can keep a tab on how many points their missing. It would just makes things a bit easier.

Unless there was a point of more discovery etc to not put a map tracker for mastery points

You can actually go to your achievement panel and then the tab under heart of thorns: “mastery insights” or something like that. I believe it says which mastery points you’ve gotten and still need on the maps.
