Hi,

I haven’t had a lot of time to read far into how Mastery Points is working. I think I got 2, total, over the course of the betas. Having played Wildstar my first instinct upon seeing the jumping mushrooms was, “Oh please, no. I will have nothing to do with this!”

I was hoping if we just ignored them and refused to talk about them they would just go away.

I got home tonight, slept for while, and then woke to realize I’d left the computer on. YouTube had some Guild Wars 2 videos playing before I had logged so when I bumped my screen one of them started off again. I am not sure whose video it was because I jumped at the sound and clicked escape to make it go away!

In the video I heard someone complaining that we only get one shot at completing a set of masteries. For instance, we might get to complete Glider, but if we skipped out on Mushrooms too bad.

Does anyone know how this is going to work? I’ve decided I won’t be going near the new content now until I’ve sorted this out. I don’t want to discover I’m useless to my guild because I trained into Frog Lore when I should have been going some other track. and now I’m locked out of it.

Thanks!

You can choose to train any Mastery Track you like, and even change in the middle of them.

Like many things, though, I imagine once a Mastery Point is spent, it can not be ‘unspent’. Maybe that’s what the person was referring to; no idea.

If you are worried about what your Guild might think, I suppose you can always ask them to choose your tracks.

Good luck.
