Migraine Achievement
I haven’t completed migraine yet, but for the Eir fight you’re going to have a hard time if you focus on melee. I hated that fight even on the regular difficulty until I realized that the best way to do it is load garm up with burning and confusion/torment and then just kite around dodging all the attacks. Just keep going around in a circle to avoid the hellfire attack Eir sometimes uses, reapply condis to garm as often as you can and wait for him to go down. Then burst Eir hard, use suns and dazes to delay the revive in order to increase your time to damage her then repeat.
With Canach just use a medium/long range weapon that has condition application and kite around in a circle dodging all of his AOEs. Its a straightforward fight it just takes a while. You don’t have to do that mess with Canach’s shield after you get him down to 50% health, just keep strafing in a circle and keep attacking from range. Farther away you are, more time you have to dodge out of his AOE circles because the projectiles have to travel further.
For the flights of fancy achievement. To the northeast of the arena there is a tree branch that you can land on, there are some videos out there of where it is. I haven’t done it yet but from what I’ve heard you just land there and wait out the flying phase and you will be good.
When I pugged mine, I was shown a spot behind a rock immediately left of your starting position. If your whole group stacks behind that rock, you’ll be out of sight of Eir and she won’t use her massive AOE. She still does her burning lines and Garm will attack you there, but you should have enough wiggle room behind the rock. If any party member moves out, she’ll AOE and guarantee a wipe. When Garm is down, she’ll come into that corner where you can break and dps her… so there shouldn’t be any reason to move anywhere else. We took about 3-4 tries before succeeding.
I was using my raid healing druid, but I’m not sure how mandatory a healer is.

As for flights for fancy, a way to cheese it is to die before the 1st flight phase, just let Marjory kill you… Canach will keep rezzing you but eventually the downed penalty will get you (i.e. you are in the penalty box). As long as you have 2-3 other party members to complete the encounter and are doing it on normal mode, you just wait there until it’s done.
I liked my way of doing flights of fancy best. After the first flying phase, land, and then allow the game to glitch and skip all the remaining flying phases in the fight.
Strangest battle ever.
And regarding migraine, I don’t have it either. Just didn’t seem worth the trouble.

I think that was patched? Not sure though. Either way these fights are definitely doable, but not very fun to do on migraine

When was this patched? I did this about a month and a half ago.
I thought it was patched in the April patch, must’ve been mistaken then.
