Please remove them from lootz in HoT maps.. they are useless, take to much inventory space and worth nothing.
Why are they even in loot in HoT.. even saving them up and sell to vendor click click click click click .. pls get rid of them.

I wish we had a Button – destroy all non-superior sigils/runes/upgrades, like the Salve All Rarity button.

This has been a complaint for a while now and has seen at least a dozen threads about it. Anet is slowly rolling out quality of life improvements (like salvage/all), so here’s hoping they give at least a checkbox to mark minor runes as junk.

The major runes at least can be forged into superior ones, I don’t mind them so much.

It’s important to really pile the trash loot on to maintain pressure on your bag space and generally hit that sweet spot for making inventory management just annoying enough to help push sales on bag slots, bank tabs and additional characters as mules. Trash sigils are never relevant at any point in the game, but a new player isn’t like to realize that and may want to hoard stuff (requires bag space) until they figure it out.

Just make the sigils/runes also salvage into random leather and cloth.

Most major runes sell on the trading post above market rates (except for the run-up to holidays, that is).

You missed something here, more crap loot requires more inventory space = people are buying inventory slots from tp = profit for anet. So, your suggestion is invalid. I feel your pain tho, in no game have I been getting so much crap loot :P

Understood, bag sales..well i bought the bag expansions.. inv space isn’t my main problem.
I just don’t understand why these runes are in there..maybe just to give the appearance of look how much lootz you get.
I don’t do Multi loot ever, i think its pointless, on the other hand if a single run Tarir for example would have good rewards (several exotics, more LEATHER- LINEN-WOOL-ETC SCRAPS, T5, t6 rewards) players wouldn’t have to go run through several instances just to get a fair amount of..whatever.

I will add, in 10 months of Gw2 i spend just as much real cash on this game as i did in 5 years of WoW.. now i think my request isn’t a bad one.. to bad there is not much answer from moderators on players suggestions, cuz i have seen many good ones on this forum.
But hey look at our new items in the Store, c’mon get your credit card out..you can never have enough skins right ?.. who doesn’t want to look like a butterfly ! O.o

I agree. Either remove them from dropped loot completely or let us salvage them into dust which would only take one inventory spot instead of many…

Personally, I’d be happy if the minor runes could be sold in bulk at vendors just like junk trophies. Either as a separate button, or an option to have them counted as junk.

Alternate option is to throw 4 different minor runes/sigils into the mystic forge to get a single one back with a chance of upgrading to a major rune. But I just don’t have the inventory space or patience for that.

more money from vendor doesn’t hurt…..
